Temperatures vary significantly depending on altitude. Lower-lying cities like Zurich and Geneva experience milder conditions, with average daytime highs around 15°C (59°F). In mountainous regions, such as Jungfrau, Murren, St ,Moritz temperatures remain much colder, with average highs around 3°C (37°F) and lows dipping below freezing. Expect moderate rainfall, with occasional showers. It’s advisable to pack a light rain jacket. April falls within the shoulder season, meaning fewer crowds compared to the peak summer and winter months.
