Located very close to Lonavala, Khandala and Khopoli, our campsite is located in the serene Mangaon valley by the foothills of Lonavala. Overlooking the picturesque Sahyadri mountain range, the tents face the mountains with amazing, scenic views. You can sit, relax and look at the nature for hours. The campsite is open on all sides and gives you a 360 degree view of the entire valley.
In this gorgeous vicinity, lies a hidden Rockpool which is plush with natural flowing water almost 8 months of the year. The trail starts from the Mangaon village and takes about 45 mins to reach the rock pool. An easy hike through some fields, through open grasslands sandwiched between the towering western ghats on either side and and then into a thick forest to finally reach this unknown spot. Rarely visited even by the locals in the region, this Rockpool gets filled with water literally all year long.
The Night Hike will truly give an experience of how awake the forest gets in the night and get blown over by the many sounds orchestrated by nature itself. It has everything that takes to create a memorable experience
Day 1
1600 Hrs Arrival at our Campground, Check in & Registrations, Tents Allocations
1630 Hrs Introductions with Tea/Coffee & Biscuits
1700 Hrs Head out for the Rockpool Trail
1830 Hrs Arrive at the Rockpool and take your spots. Enjoy a relaxing swim or simply lie down on the rocks and watch the rising stars with the sounds of the river.
1930 Hrs Join us in the whole rustic BBQ experience right from creating a pit to lighting the coal and then of course in making that perfect BBQ.
2100 Hrs Relax and enjoy some leisure time by the bonfire. You can always join our Naturalist for a night Macro Walk in the forests.
0000 Hrs Cook up some delicious Maggi accompanied with some Black Tea by the bonfire.
Day 2
0100 Hrs Freshen and Pack up and start the hike back to the Campsite.
0230 Hrs Arrive at the campsite and crash for the night.
08:30 Hrs, Wake up, Freshen up, Breakfast with Tea/Coffee
09:30 Hrs Day at Leisure
11:00 Hrs Checkout and Head back to Home destination

The iTravel Group is a trademark brand under M/s RAV Travels LLP and all payments to be done in favour of M/s RAV Travels LLP.
An advance of 75% would be required towards confirmation of the trip and the balance to be cleared 24 hours before departure.
The Hike is easy variant, but due to the night element it can be rated as Medium hence Participants should be medically fit.
Payments to be received in full before the start of the event, verbal confirmations will not be considered as a “yes”.
Additional snacks apart from what is provided can be carried by the participants accordingly.
Basic assistance would be expected from all the traveller’s to carry equipments and even whilst cooking at the Rockpool Site.
All photographs would be published via our social network group pages and we do not charge additional for any pictures, unless some special requirements.
The locations that iTravel caters too, are usually eco sensitive and we would expect participants to equally take care of the same.
This trip is on a rustic side and we would expect all the traveler’s to cooperate in case of any shortcomings in terms of planning. You’re feedback for this trip would be most welcome.
